A crosswalk, finally
For years, the corner of Trinity and Edgar — right in front of PS 150 — needed a real fix. This year, after sustained advocacy through CB1's Youth & Education Committee, it got one: a dedicated diagonal crosswalk, redone signals, planters from the MTA, and crossing guards secured through the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel leadership.
It's a small corner of a big city. But it's the corner my kids and their friends cross every morning, and now it's safer. That's the kind of work I show up for.
